a little sparkle & a lot of light

True story, I was the most miserable pregnant person in the world. I swear everything that came out of my mouth was a complaint! Due to the misery that I felt, I was a little apprehensive to delve into maternity photography. However, it's quickly becoming one of my favorite types of sessions to photograph! Every expecting mama that I photograph is more beautiful than the last! This gorgeous mama certainly did not disappoint! Here are a few sneak peeks from her session...

I've always done maternity shoots on location. Although I do have a studio, it's a bit tight and I was nervous that people would be turned off when they walk in the door. However, this gorgeous mom rocked her maternity session, her sparkling personality shows in every photo!

All of the photos were backlit. I love the use of negative space. It allows you to focus on her natural beauty, her perfect bump, and the gorgeous maternity gown!
