Kat & Dan, Waiting for Baby

I first met Kat and Dan out at a bar in Asbury Park, (Dan used to work with my husband- don't worry, I don't approach random couples at bars, LOL). I knew I loved Kat the moment that I met her! She was so sweet and had a very similar mentality to me, we gabbed about our honeymoons, weddings, and the importance of making time as a couple even when you had kids. When I got home, I said to my husband, I wonder when they're going to have a baby. 

Fast forward a few months later and I received an inquiry from Kat! I was so excited that they were expecting and that they had chosen me to capture their memories. I love that they chose Asbury Park as the location for their maternity shoot, the location has so much versatility. 

I loved working with this beautiful couple. The love between Kat and Dan was so evident! These photos show so much emotion between the two of them, I smiled like crazy while I was editing this gallery! 

The shots by the old casino are some of my favorite that I've ever taken! I love the way that the clean and preppy style mixes with the look of the old, rustic casino. The way that the sun framed the backdrop completely made the photos!
